Our MOCHIP Experience

Since it's inception in 2005, the MOCHIP team have lead an extremely successful program. Below are just some hightlights from Nicks play book that may help you in your Program Managment.

Forms we use

  • Event Planner – A comprehensive checklist to guide Lodges through preparations months prior to an event. Any and all suggestions are welcome.
  • Event Follow-up – Similar to the Event Planner, this form is sent to lodges approximately one month prior to their event to learn of their preparedness and/or light a fire under them.

Promotion

  • A new MOCHIP coloring book is in the works, written and designed by Lori Cichielo. The focus is the MOCHIP process, how each station works, and important safety tips.

Team

  • User ID’s – Individual user ID’s and passwords have been given to all team members who should have access to the Team Page on the Web site. In the future, users will have greater resources for both personal and professional MOCHIP related use. Please feel free to share thoughts and suggestions regarding items /resources you’d like considered. General ideas include Blogs and Web pages for coordinators to manage their teams. If there is anyone who has been innocently overlooked, please let us know.

National Masonichip  

  • John Hess of the MOCHIP Team, serves on the Conference of Grand Masters on North America (CGMNA) MasoniCHIP Committee as one of five national Executive Members.  He will be traveling to Louisville, KY  for the 2008 CGMNA to deliberate and frame the future of National Masonichip.
  • Nick Cichielo has been appointed Marketing Coordinator of the National Masonichip program and offers his knowledge and expertise upon request via email or telephone. Arrangements can also be made for him to travel and lecture, or attend a MasoniCHIP Conference to work with him one-on-one. 

Summary  

  • The MOCHIP website (www.MOCHIP.org) is a part of the MasoniCHIP web server "Joomla" system that allows volunteers to manage the content in "Real Time". We are proud of our volunteer who have taken the time to learn "Joomla" and evolve it into one of the most developed sites in the MasoniCHIP program.
  • MOCHIP has been successfully marketed to attract over 5 million dollars in "Free Media Coverage" and over $200,000 in corporate and indisponsorship r the highest his the most successfully    and comprehensive of the CHIP programs nationally.
  • MOCHIP is the “prototype” for new and upcoming CHIP programs.
  • To date, the Masonichip Program has processed 1,100,000 children collectively.
